Whyte Laydie Top - Bob Anderson Neck

Bob Anderson made this beautiful neck to fit a Whyte Laydie 11 1/2" pot. Circa 2000. The cocobolo neck has a 24 1/4" scale and 1 3/8" nut width. Anderson's masterful work features gorgeous inlays and carvings. A full and powerful sounding instrument!

Hohner Bluegrass

An arched top Master Tone copy, circa 2000. The 26 1/4" scale neck features a beautiful floral inlay pattern on a rosewood fingerboard with a nut width of 1 1/4". The 11" pot has a curly maple sunburst resonator, notched chrome tension hoop and one piece flange. A true Bluegrass banjo at an affordable price.

Saga Travel Banjo

New, a sturdy little banjo with a nice sound. The neck is a 19 3/4" scale with a 1 1/4" nut width. The 11" pot has a 3/4" wood rim and rolled brass tone ring with one coordinator rod. All geared tuners. Can be tuned up to "A" or to the normal "G" with heavier strings.

S.S. Stewart "2nd Grade" Banjo

An 1890's Stewart. The cherry neck has a 24" scale and 1 5/16" nut width. It has been fitted with modern, geared tuners with ebony buttons. The 10 1/8" pot is a metal clad, thin maple rim and calf skin head. Bright early Stewart sound.

Vega Whyte Laydie Banjo

A custom Doug Unger 26" scale neck with fancy inlays and and exquisite engraving. Snakewood fingerboard and peghead overlay. Maple neck with a georgous carved boatheel. An 1 3/8" nut width. The 10 1/8" Vega Whyte Laydie pot #33302 has a nice pig skin head. A great clawhammer banjo. Doug Unger at his best!

Bacon & Day Silver Bell Montana #1 Tenor

1920's banjo with an amazing sound. A 23" scale neck, and 1 1/4" nut width with an engraved pearliod fingerboard and peghead. The pot is 11", all original with a working knee mute. In excellent + condition. The pinnacle of tenor banjos.

August Pullman's Mandoline Banjo

Circa 1900. The neck has a 23 3/4" scale and 1 3/8" nut width. The body is 10 1/4" wide with an overall instrument length of 34 1/8". This fancy model is made with Brazilian rosewood back and sides, Adirondack spruce top with a fancy inlaid pickguard, rosette and purfling. It is in execellent condition. A warm sustained tonal pallet. The perfect banjo for polite company!

Vega Piccolo Banjo with a Belltone Pot

A marriage of an orginal 5 string Vega Piccolo Whyte Laydie neck to a Beltone 11" pot. The neck has a 1 1/4" nut width and a 19 3/4" scale, geared tuners on the peghead, with a friction 5th peg. The pot is a 1/2" thick bird's eye maple rim width with a rolled brass tone ring and a calf skin head. It has a great warm tone, is cute, and fun to play!
